What’s Included
Yashica lens cap, Yashica genuine leather ever-ready case
The Yashica Lynx-1000 is a solid early-1960s rangefinder built around a fast 45mm f/1.8 Yashinon lens and full manual exposure control. Unlike later electronic models, the Lynx-1000 uses a selenium meter—so no batteries are required—making it a simple and reliable option for film shooters who prefer a fully mechanical camera.

Exposure is set by choosing your shutter speed (up to a notably fast 1/1000 sec) and then adjusting the aperture until the meter needle is centered. The meter can be read from both the top plate and inside the viewfinder, and the green-tinted finder improves contrast for focusing with the bright rangefinder patch.

This is a straightforward, classic shooting experience: full control, sharp optics, and no electronics to depend on.

Shop Notes
A good choice for someone who wants a fully mechanical rangefinder without dealing with batteries. The slightly slow shutter speeds are consistent, making this very usable in practice once understood.
