Camera Trading Company buys quality used cameras, lenses, and photographic equipment. Most of our inventory comes from photographers, collectors, and hobbyists who no longer need their gear.

Our goal is to make the selling process fair, transparent, and straightforward.

How Selling to Us Works

1. Contact Us

Email us to schedule a drop-off appointment. For larger collections, pickup may be available.

2. Tell Us About Your Gear

Please include as much detail as possible:

Make and model
Working condition
Cosmetic condition
Clear, in-focus photos

Our Product Condition Ratings page can help you estimate condition before contacting us.

3. Drop Off Your Equipment

When you drop off your items, we will log serial numbers and provide you with a copy for your records.

4. Evaluation

Each item is carefully inspected and evaluated, usually within five business days.

5. Review the Offer

Once we agree on a price, we will complete a purchase agreement and pay you by e-transfer or cash.

We do not provide estimates over the phone.

All offers are based on in-person inspection.

Not all equipment qualifies for purchase. We focus on equipment that complements our current inventory and resale market.
