Introduced in the early 1970s, the Nikkormat EL was Nikon’s first camera with an electronically controlled shutter and aperture-priority automatic exposure. It also provides full manual exposure control, with Through-The-Lens metering visible in the viewfinder.
The included Nikkor-H.C Auto 28mm f/3.5 is a multicoated, pre-AI Nikon F-mount wide-angle lens. Its 28mm focal length is well suited to landscapes, architecture, interiors, street photography, and general-purpose wide-angle work.
