he Yashica JP, released in 1964, is an all-metal, fully mechanical, manual-focus, single-lens-reflex camera, with shutter-speeds of B, 1/2 to 1/500 of a second, flash bulb FP and X sockets, self-timer, and front-mounted shutter release (like the Exakta). Also on the front is a mounting bracket for an external CdS exposure meter (not included), which couples to the shutter-speed dial (like the Leica M3). The lens mount is the 42mm Pentax/Praktica thread mount, which accepts a vast array of available lenses. Included here with the chrome-body camera is a Auto Yashinon-DX 1:2 f=50mm lens, which can be switched between manual (the diaphragm stops down to the aperture setting) and automatic (the diaphragm stays wide open for focusing and stops down only when the shutter is released). The camera and lens are in outstanding mechanical, optical, and cosmetic condition.
