Leica began producing this camera in 1976 at it's factory in Portugal. Featuring an automatic electronic shutter feature that will determine the correct shutter speed based on the light meter reading, or fully manual operation this is a well built solid feeling camera. Leica's attention to quality shines through in these cameras with their solid feel and smooth operation. The Summicron - R lens has particularly smooth focus and aperture ring movements.

Operating Condition: Excellent - no issues

Cosmetic Condition: used - Excellent plus. There is paint wear on the edges of the bottom of the camera, and a few signs of use on the rest of the camera. Lens glass is clean and clear with no issues, and a few very minor makes on the paint.

Note that the Finder eye-piece is not original, and has a few scratches. Does not interfere with picture taking.
