This is the second in the Rollei 35 line of all-metal, scale-focusing cameras with collapsible lens—the smallest full-frame 35mm cameras to date. Like the original Rollei 35 of 1966, the 35 S has a coupled exposure meter for fully manual exposure, but it also has the new and faster Rollei-made 1:2.8, 40mm Sonnar lens with HFT coating. Unlike most cameras, these little Rollie's have the wind lever on the left, the rewind crank and flash hot-shoe on the bottom, and the battery (the now-obsolete PX625) inside the film compartment (an LR44 will give accurate exposures by setting the film speed two stops slower). Tested and fully working. It requires two strokes -one full and one short to wind the film to the next frame
