Ultra Compact folding 35mm manual focus camera with Aperture Priority semi-automatic shutter operation. Made in Germany.
The Minox 35 EL, introduced in 1974, was the first in the line of Minox 35mm miniature cameras. It has a Color-Minotar 1:2.8, f=35mm scale-focusing lens that collapses into the body when the lens cover is closed (like the folding cameras of the past). It was designed for the now-obsolete PX27 5.6 volt battery, but a stack of four LR44 batteries (wrapped with tape as insulation) will give accurate exposures if the film speed is set two stops slower. Tested and fully working.

Cosmetic Condition: Used – Very Good. The top cover has a chip out of the edge at the corner above the winding lever, and a hair-line crack at the bottom right-hand corner of the viewfinder. The back cover has some scuffs.
